It was June 2016 when I went on this trip.
Would Recommend Level: 4.5 stars
This trip was my best solo-trip by far but when people ask me “what’s the best trip I’ve been to?” , I answer them with “Probably Croatia, I’ve had so much fun and such amazing experiences BUT I’m not sure if I’d recommend (depends on who) cause it was perfect and suitable for me, but maybe its not for everyone”.
What it was:A 7 days backpacking trip. Hopping around hostels, long coach rides (one was overnightas well), met some amazing people who I am now still in touch with.

Most Memorable things (except for having “me/alone” time and travelling):
The PLACE itself for sure, people I’ve met, the 1euro gelatos and affogato (3euros) every day for real, walking tours, swimming relaxing and reading on their beautiful rocky beaches, Roman history and architecture, Game of Thrones, King’s Landing, I’ve had the BEST Caprese salad on this trip, the Euro football Cup, — just me, exploring, learning, absorbing, feeling, understanding, observing
and tranquillity.

Itinerary: Flew from London Luton to Pula (extremely cheap tickets) –> Zagreb (stayed
at the capital for a night just as a transition to my next stop) –> Plitvice Lake –> Split –> Dubrovnik –> Mostar –> Zagreb –> Pula –> London

View from the Mosque Tower. I don’t remember how long I stayed there cause it was so beautiful. Walked up twice andworth it!
Plitvice Lake. The day of the Brexit result, ovreheard some American tourists talking about the poll results. Was very sad about it after haha but still loved this park to bits. Got bitten by loaaads of mosquitoes, so bring mosquito repellent!
I super love the narrow streets here, their levels, their brick and stone and tile materials all mixed together, signages, maps, ugh ❤ Love it!!

Always can’t resist taking photo of people when I see the perfect moment.
View from the city wall of Dubrovnik
On the city wall (its a very very long city wall and this is one part of it only). Love to see fellow travellers enjoying alone time as well, so tranquil, by the sea reading. ❤
Split. – definitely recommend this place, don’t just go to Dubrovnik, there’s so much to Split. If you like history and architecture, join their walking tour!
Asked the girl if I can take a photo of her, it was one of those “perfect moment” kinda shot XD I just couldnt resist.
